Lidia's Diary in Portsmouth

Dear Alicia,

This afternoon we walked for a long, awfully tiring time to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard to visit HMS Warrior (a war ship built up in 1860). She is considered Britain's first iron-hulled, armoured battleship. Powered by steam and sail, she was the largest and fastest ship of her day. They said she was the pride of Queen Victoria (Now, I'm an expert on war ships ufff!!).

This ship reminded me of the Titanic. I know it's not the same, but being there for me was like being on the Titanic. And Daniel and I imagined we were Rose and Jack and started to cry from the prow, like in the film:

"Do you trust me, Rose?"
"Yes, of course I do, Jack"
"Open you eyes!"
"I'm flying Jack!!"

Do you remember this scene? I'm sure you do. =)

After dinner we met in a park not far from my house. It was terribly huge and it was quite nice to stay there so we decided we're going to go there everyday. We've been talking and playing football. It's been nice. At ten o'clock I returned home (this is the limit time people of our age can stay out in the street).

Now it's time to bed. Good night,

Lidia

PS: And guess where we are going tomorrow: LONDON!!!
