Hi My Dear!

Today was dedicated to the project. After the classes, the English teachers took us to D.O.V.E (Design Options for a Versatile Environment).

It was like a shop where special equipment for disabled people were sold. People in wheelchairs had a kitchen with all the necessary equipment for them, for example, all the cupboards were lower than usual and there were long-handled tongs to reach things that were too high.

There were door-bells that lighted a lamp when someone was ringing. And there was also a videophone so they could understand what the other person was saying by reading their lips. We tried all the equipment and took the wheelchairs and made a races with them! It was funny! Obviously, I was the winner.

By 5 pm we returned home and I watched a film on TV about a deaf girl who had a love story with her handsome teacher. I think I had seen it before, but as I couldn't remember what was it about I sat with the family in the living-room and watched the film quietly. I enjoyed it very much.

Now I' m a bit tired. I'm going to bed.
Love and sweet dreams,

Lidia
