Dear Alicia, Today is Sunday: there are no classes and no shops. The teachers organized an extra trip to Winchester, King Alfred's city. We went by train early in the morning, although some students preferred to stay in Portsmouth and go to the cold and windy beach (I can't understand it yet). The first thing we visited was Winchester gothic Cathedral. We had lunch in the garden next to the cathedral and then, Sara and I went to a paying toilet. I can't bear when you have to pay for everything!! Then, Carol, Jenny, Domi, Jonathan, Sergi, Mari Carmen and Susana went to a flea market and Buchera, Marcia, Carmen, Sara(s) and I went to see King Arthur's Round Table and the City Museum. At about 4:30, we all returned by train. That was all the journey. I'm not going out after dinner because I feel awfully tired, although I don't know exactly why. I only want to tell you that I'm having a great time but I miss my family and, of course, I miss you. Take care! Lidia |
