Last Wednesday afternoon we went to the "Departament de Benestar Social", in Barcelona. It is located in a beautiful building near the sea, called Palau de Mar.

A woman called Pilar Contreras received us and she told us about the problems disabled people have to carry a normal life.

Then, another woman showed us two videos: the first one was to teach us how to help a blind person.

The second video was about a couple of disabled persons who are married and lead a normal life with the help of a lot of electronic devices.

Later, we visited the Sírius (the personal autonomy centre). There, we saw a lot of devices to make the life of the disabled much easier.
